Week 8 was GREAT!! Part 1

Mon. Feb. 20th

We came down and stayed the night at Char's last night. 

I was woken up by little ones coming to cuddle in bed with me.

They had the major giggles too.

The BEST EVER!!!

I LOVE my babies!

Mannie even went and made a breakfast smoothie to share with everyone.

We were sportin' fabulous Mustaches! :)

Tues. Feb. 21st

Guess what started up today...YEP, Soccer!!

I swear we were JUST doing this!

We LOVE it though!!

Wed. Feb. 22nd

Half Day=Park Day for the crew!

 The beautiful sunset on my way home from taking Mannie to scouts.

Technically, she's my Visiting Teacher from church.

I consider her a great friend.

Fri. Feb. 24th

Soph had a craft day while I was getting food ready for my family that is coming tomorrow!

She's showing you her stack of foam shapes that she glued all together.

 Sat. Feb. 25th

We went to watch Ty at our local Community College in a 3 on 3 tournament.

They were the youngest team there.

Ty was the oldest on his team.

His fellow team mates ranged from 5-7 years old.

They played some tough teams.

Including these 12 year old girls who took 1st place in the tournament last year.

They didn't win ONE game, but each team had to work hard for each goal.

They played hard!!

Week 8 Part 2

Sat. Feb. 25th

Our Monthly "Rodriguez Family Reunion"

Every month we take turns having the family over to enjoy lots of yummy food and great laughs.

It was my turn this month.

We had so much fun!!!

SO glad everyone could make it.

I feel so blessed to be a Daughter, a Sister, a Cousin and most of all an Aunt to all these wonderful people.

Can't wait for next month!!!

 We celebrated 3 birthdays!

Week 7

Mon. Feb. 13th

We got lots of projects done today.

I'm glad we had the day off!

We worked on Mannie's Science Project and on the kids' Valentines.

98 all together!!

Tues. Feb. 14th

Valentine's Day!

I made the kids a Valentine out of a Koolaid squeeze juice and a bag of hersheys kisses.

It had a little tag that said
 "Squeezes and Kisses,
I Love You!!"

 

 

Soph attended her first friend party today
ALL BY HERSELF!!

YAY!!

Her best friend Audrey had a "Fancy Nancy, Fancy Dress Valentine's party.

She was SO excited to get all dressed up and pass out her Valentines.




After Sophs party we headed over to see her brothers at school.
We hit Ty's class first.
Lots of Valentines!!
He was excited to show me his origami heart too.

Linc surprised me with a Valentine's date to a local Thai restaurant.

YUMMMERRRRSS!!

Grandma Nancy sent the kids a Valentine's Day card,
so when we got home from our Dinner we took the kids out to spend their Valentine money.

Wed. Feb. 15th

Mom's closet is the best dress up closet!

Thurs. Feb. 16th

It snowed a little today.

It was kind of crazy, the sun was out in the morning and

Mannie and Ty wore shorts to school.

OOPSY!!

Jace (in his little pants) told us on the way to school that it was supposed to snow.

I kinda chuckled.

Then the clouds came and the snow came down.

WOW!!

My little 1st grader knows way more than I do.

Learned my lesson :)

A sucker before bed probably wasn't the best idea!

He's so sweet!!

I just know he was dreaming of a snow day!!

It never happened.

Fri. Feb. 17th

Science Fair day!
